2012 was a turning point for the Gabrielino/Tongva Nation. Litigation against Jonathan Stein was coming to a close in favor of the tribe and the Peo’tskome turned their focus to differentiating themselves from Stein and other tribal factions. What better way to do this than with a new logo?

In August 2012, the Peo’tskome notified the tribe of the logo contest and all citizens were welcome to participate. At the winter general meeting they honored all designers and unveiled the winning design.

The Peo’tskome sends their thanks and regards to all designers:

Diane Blunt
Hunter Goad
Sandonne Goad
Adam Loya
Joellen Martinez
Jesse Moya II
Ero Moya
Lynsay White

The logo is used for all tribal branding, from the flag to documents and ID cards.
